In 1929 Leslie married Violet Webb at St John's Church in Leytonstone. At the time of his marriage Leslie was living at 628 High Rd; (presumably Leytonstone).

Leslie and Violet had two children:
Jill Cook , born 4th September 1938, also at Woodside Nursing Home, Woodford.

Jill attended Cowslip Road school and St Barnabas School. Jill then was an apprentice hairdresser at Horsey's of Walthamstow. Jill attended Latchett Evangelical Church and became a committed Christian at Billy Grahame, Harringay 1954.

Violet and Leslie
By 1934 Leslie and Violet were living at 16 Waverley Road, South Woodford and later moved to 94 Cadogan Gardens. When Leslie retired he lived in a mobile home in High Beech, Epping Forest
Leslie worked as an insurance agent.
Violet died in 1964. The following year Leslie married Grace Mary Simmons (3q1965, Redbridge, 5d, 1640). Grace M. Clark was born 1918 in West Ham and married Walter Simmons in 1938.
Leslie died in 1978. When Leslie died Grace said she wanted nothing more to do with the family. Three years later Grace married William J. Plumb (Epping Forest, 3q1981, 9, 3083). Grace died in 1992.
