On New Year's Eve 1898 Frederick married Ellen Fletcher at the Lambeth Registry office, with Kate Webb (Frederick's younger sister) as one of the witnesses.

Frederick and Ellen had the following children:
- Reginald Arthur Webb born in Clapton 1Q1900 (Hackney, 1b, 458). The
1901 census
shows Reginald aged one year old. According to Eric (Reginald's youngest brother), Reginald fell off a chair when he was about a year old and died from head injuries. Reginald died on
7th December 1901
aged 1 year 11 months. Reginald died of meningitus.
- Violet Webb - born 12th October 1901 in Hackney.
- Ella Maud Webb,
Born 5th May 1903 (information from death certificate) in Leyton. In 4Q1935 (Cambridge, 3b, 1381) Ella married Wilfred Featherstone and lived at Landbeach, Cambs. Wilf worked at the US Air base at Mildenhall. Wilf and Ella had one son:
- Geoffrey Featherstone born 4q1937 (Cambridge, 3b, 608). In 3q1964 Geoff married Janet M. Gifford (Cambridge, 4a, 868). In 1q1977 Geoff married Susan Chapman (Cambridge, 9, 0637).
Geoff lived at 6 Claudian Close, Haverhill, CB9 0NL, with Susan.
Ella died April 1992 (Cambridge, 9, 554).
- Hilda Ellen Webb
Born 25th May 1904 (death certificate) 3Q1905 (West Ham, 4a, 295) in Leyton.
In 3Q1932 (Newmarket, 3b, 1385), Hilda married Albert Edward Murfet, born 4q1906 (Newmarket, 3b, 460). Bert was a master baker who owned his own business, as described
here.
Bert was a voluntary fireman. Bert and Hilda lived at 1 Mill St, Soham, Cambs. Bert and Hilda had 3 children:

- Helen C. Murfet born 1q1948 (Cambridge, 4a, 422). Helen lived at 7 Alliance Court, Hill Ave; Cambs. tel' --244429. Helen worked at Addenbrooks Hospital
Hilda died January 1987 in (Cambridge, 9, 600).
- Vera Webb
Born 25th October 1907 (death certificate) in Wanstead. In 4q1940 Vera married Frank E. Webber (Essex South Western, 4a, 1089). Frank worked for Lloyds Bank. No children. Lived at Herongate Rd, Wanstead with her Mother, then later in Hutton, Essex. Vera died November 1996 in Brentwood.
- Frederick (known as Eric) Webb
Born 1q1912 (West Ham, 4a, 634). Frederick's father, Frederick Webb senior, registered his youngest son's birth and named him Frederick. Apparently, Ellen was not happy with this and Frederick was known as Eric all his life. In 2Q1945 Eric married Margaret "Peggy" Wiggins (Ilford, 4a, 1325). Eric and Peggy had one child:
- Bobby (is this Anthony I. Webb, born 2q1954 (Essex South Western, 5a, 184)? who was living in the USA.
During the second world war Eric was a prisoner of war of the Germans, but escaped and re-captured by the Italians. After the war Eric lived in Chigwell and worked for Ilford Films at Brentwood. Eric and Peggy retired to 63 Newlands Rd, Sidmouth Devon, EX10 9NN.
