Robert assigns to his eldest son Robert all messuages, tenements, hereditaments, etc. lying in Mundham and Chedgrave, except that part of the estate purchased from the Rev. John Lamb which lies in Chedgrave, which is to go to his younger son William and his assigns. Usual strictures about keeping the property in good order. Also 100 pounds.
After the death of Robert Jnr., all his property is to go to his legitimate children, share an share alike as tenants in common, not joint tenants or, in the event of the death of one or more, to the survivors.
Robert leaves also to son William, under similar conditions, property in Loddon and Chedgrave currently in the occupation of Robert Crickmer the younger.
In addition, each brother is to pay, from his part of the estate, an annuity of 4 pounds per annum (making a total of 8 pounds) to Robert Snrs housekeeper Martha Dent which she is to enjoy in perpetuity, regardless of future marriage.
In addition Robert leaves to John Dent otherwise Crickmer, son of Martha Dent, 400 pounds to be paid to him on his 21st birthday, but in the meantime to be invested and the capital used for his education in a trade.
In addition, a payment of 2s. 6d. is to be made weekly from the estate to Robert's sister Martha, wife of Charles Newstead, husbandman.
All household and farm chattels, stock, etc. to be divided equally between Robert Jnr. And William.
